Adam grew up in a “church start up” in Staten Island, NYC. As a native New Yorker, diversity and outreach are in his blood. Adam and Leslie met at the age of 13, riding the city bus to school, and from that point on they have been inseparable. Both Adam and Leslie attended Elim Bible Institute.

In the late ‘90s, Adam returned home to assist his family with the church in Staten Island. As he began to preach, teach, and lead worship on a regular basis, Adam immediately knew — this is what he was created to do.

Adam and Leslie married in 2001 and knew God was calling them to full-time ministry. In 2004, after the birth of their first child, they relocated to Richmond, VA.

Twelve years and two more children later, they have been called to plant a church in the Forest Hill community where they have lived their entire time in Richmond — building relationships, loving their neighbors, and growing a passion to see a diverse community help change the city.
